  1. New Grand Trawler 63 By Beneteau
The Beneteau Grand Trawler 63 is an evolution of many of the modern vessels we have seen from the builder in recent years but this new model recently made its debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival back in September. It is continuing along the path set by the Grand Trawler 62 and now naturally represents the flagship of the Swift Trawler range from the builder.
  2. The Grand Trawler 63 has a displacement hull but is still a swift boat in her right. However, she is more designed for longer-range passages. In fact, this vessel can run 900 to 950 nautical miles at around 9-knots and still keep a 10% fuel reserve. The twin MAN 730 horse power engines with straight shafts deliver one of the best power-to-weight ratios on the market. Her official length is 63.5-feet with a beam of 17.9-feet and a draft of approximately 4.7-feet. The design is in collaboration with MICAD Naval Architects while the interior is the work of Nauta Design.
  3. If fully spec'd out with extra insulation this boat can be very quiet underway. Sleipner fin stabilizers offer operational comfort and an optional Silent Boat Pack and extensive soundproofing throughout help to create a quiet and comfortable environment onboard. The Grand Trawler 63 can come in either 3 or 4 cabin configuration depending on owner requirement. The 3 cabin layout will have the master suite full-beam midships, a twin forward and port -this can have a double berth with the provided infill bedding- and in the bow a 45-degree set VIP bed berth. The 4 cabin layout has two twins mirroring each other in place of the master suite. The vessel is built to CE Certification B16.
  4. The interior is one of the highlights of this vessel taking small-boat living to new heights. The light-filled interiors are complimented by the decor choices which offer elegance and a Scandi-chic feel. The main deck offers a fairly open-plan layout with the ability to see right through the whole interior of this deck from one end to the other. Although it is one deck, there are some slight variations in height as you move across the main deck thanks to a few step-ups/downs.
