  1. Gran Turismo 50 By Beneteau
Sporting exterior lines by Andreani Design and Naval Architecture via Bill Dixon, the new Gran Turismo 50 is another model in the said Gran Turismo range by Beneteau. In fact, the 50 is the second model of the recent range and it is expected to make its debut at the Boot Dusseldorf. Beneteau has been offering refreshed designs in their motor yacht segments and this one strikes perhaps at the heart of come competitors. Its look is reminiscent of the Azimut Sea Deck series but with sportier rooflines.
  2. While it may bear similarities to its Italian counterpart, given that it is a Beneteau it will be a more attainable yacht to acquire. The baseline price is significantly less giving customers the look of this new style without paying the higher prices of other builders.
  3. In terms of performance the Gran Turismo 50 or GT50 as it is also known as is powered by the compact-fitting Volvo Penta IPS650s which will give this yacht an estimated top speed of 32-knots. Fast cruising should be in the 20 to 25-knot region.
  4. On the interior there is good space to work with and enough to fit a three cabin layout comfortably on the lower deck. The midships area carries a twin and a double while the master suite is towards the bow. On the outside most of the attention focuses to the stern area of the vessel. As is now customary in this market segment, the terraces fold down to open up the aft area. The swim platform is not fixed and can descend into the water to release or retrieve the tender or serve as a shallow ledge for those not wanting to go into the depths. The aft deck is centered around a sunpadded region juxtaposed to a dinette open cockpit area.
