  1. 55-meter T-Line "Severin's" Launches At Baglietto
The newest build from Italian yard Baglietto has been launched. She is a member of the T-Line series of yachts and is called "Severin's". The vessel made it to the water over the weekend and the event was celebrated with the typical launch ceremony. This yacht, at 55-meters is actually one of the largest Baglietto has launched in a long time...since 2012.
  2. She is powered by dual CAT 3516C DITA marine diesels. She should be able to reach a top-end of 17-knots and cruise economically at 12-knots using a full fuel capacity of 93,000LT. Guests will be able to enjoy this yacht's four decks. In this aerial shot we can see broad deck space forward of the bridge. This is likely where the two tenders are going to be stored as there is a dedicated beach club in the aft lower deck position. The sundeck is very spacious offering the center-piece swimming pool to guests. There is also space for a bar for sundowners, an al fresco dining table under the hardtop and some sun loungers can be laid out towards the aft. The views are mainly uninterrupted from this deck with frameless glass serving to wrap around the deck.
  3. The interior is largely by Margherita Casprini while the exterior is by Francesco Paszkowski as it is on this series of yachts from Baglietto. The onboard accommodation is for up to ten guests in a maximum of six cabins which is slightly unusual. There is even the added flexibility to convert a cabin on the upper deck into a massage room, playroom, etc. The main deck is home to the master suite and two other guest cabins. Eleven crew can be accommodated to run the functions of the yacht and take care of the guests onboard.
  4. Commenting on the launch of 55-meter Severin's was the CEO of Baglietto Shipyard, Michele Gavino, "This was a historic and emotional day. Not only did we welcome a beautiful yacht, the biggest ever built by Baglietto in its recent history, but we also saw the history of the shipyard before our very eyes." The CEO continued to say, "The unveil of a new yacht is always an extraordinary moment in a shipyard’s life. It is a special moment focused on the yacht; her owner, who I thank for the trust given to us; and all the people that made this dream a reality." Severin's has a GT of around 760, an LOA of 55-meters and a BOA of 10.20-meters. Construction was in steel for the hull and aluminum for the superstructure.
