News: Baglietto Inks Second DOM133

Italian yard Baglietto recently signed their latest yacht which is a member of the DOM (Domus-home) line of yachts. This time it is a DOM133 which is the 40-meter variant of the line and this makes it the second one to be sold. Just recently the yard delivered the first DOM123, slightly smaller variation called "Run Away". The second DOM133 is presently under construction which means it likely started build on spec. It didn't stay a speculation build for very long. Construction will persist until delivery in 2023.

The design on the DOM133 is by Stefano Vafiadis of Studio Vafiadis. The interior volume on this build is just shy of 400 GT (398 GT) making her not short on available space for guests. The DOM133 has great interior spaces but the deck spaces are just as spacious and inviting. Particularly of note are the aft deck spaces which mix al-fresco dining, lounging and relaxation all into one. The exterior jacuzzi is on the aft main deck with a clear view over the transom. The foredeck also has good space with built-ins in the form of sun pad and al-fresco dining options.

Back inside the semi displacement DOM133 can accommodate twelve (12) guests. The general arrangements suggest three double cabins and a twin on the lower deck which would likely feature pullman berths to provide extra accommodation while the forward main deck is the owner's domain with a full-beam master suite. Powering the second DOM133 are a pair of CAT C32s which are expected to provide power for a top speed of 17-knots. Cruising will be 15-knots and at continuous 10-knots the range should be 4,000 nautical miles. The vessel measures 40.60-meters long and stretches 8.70-meters wide with a draft of 2.10-meters.
