  1. Second Amels 200 Launched In Holland
The latest Amels 200 has been launched at the Dutch yard in Holland. Hull 200/02 took to the water after starting construction on spec and then finding an owner recently. The Limited Editions design is coming at a fast pace with the first hull (200/01) being launched in February and now the second hull being launched in April. Tim Heywood's distinctive lines grace the exterior of this build with the interior being designed by Luxury Projects. It is now the second RoFlo launch for the year from Amels and will engage in the final stages of outfitting and testing before delivery in the Summer to her owner.
  2. "We are delighted to have sold Amels 200-02 and also to be able to mark the occasion with her launch. The collaboration with all parties involved have contributed to reaching this wonderful milestone and the success of the project. I look forward to seeing the final stages come together and delivering her to her Owner later this year", said Amels and Damen Yachting sales manager Jorrit Pilaar.
  3. Onboard, the interior designed by Ancona-based firm Luxury Projects houses up to six (6) cabins for twelve (12) guests. There is room in seven (7) cabins for up to thirteen (13) crew. The interior should offer a different feel considering the interior designers between the two hulls are different, with Reymond Langton designing the interior of the first hull. The internal volume on this one should be similar to the 1,015 GT of hull 200/01. 15.5-knots should be her top speed with a more efficient cruising speed of 13-knots permitting a 4,500 nautical mile range.
