  1. 55-meter "Geco" By Admiral Yachts
This yacht is presently under construction by Admiral Yachts and is expected to be delivered this year. The finished name appears to be "Geco"as seen in the renderings. The 55-meter is designed by the yard's in-house team while the interior has been done by the Italian Sea Group. Geco appears to be based off the 55-meter "Quinta Essentia" (which the yard built back in 2016). Of course there are many differences with the new 55-meter that make it a bit more personal but in essence it is a similar look.
  2. By mid-year it is expected that Geco will hit the charter market; available for those desirous of a floating luxury experience. Onboard Geco you will find accommodation for up to twelve guests in six cabins. The cabins appear to be spread between the main and lower decks with the full-beam master suite in the on deck position forward. Two doubles, two twins and a full-beam VIP are the other guest cabins.
  3. On Quinta Essentia the sun deck is partially enclosed but on Geco it will be open with only a small hardtop supporting the radar mast. There is enough space to fit a pool, handful of gym equipment and deck furniture all surrounded by substantial railings to keep guests safe on the highest deck.
  4. If Geco's transom turns out like what is seen in the render below it is going to be a feast for the eyes design wise and as a space that will be traversed by guests regularly. There is intent to create a waterfall-edge with the teak-work spilling over the end of the bathing platform. On each side of the stern there will be seats next to the window cut-outs providing alternative seating for guests to relax when anchored in a private setting.
  5. The performance of Geco will be reliant on her pair of CAT power C32 marine diesels. These should be able to permit a top speed of 18-knots. Quinta Essentia is a hybrid-powered by MAN engines which provide a top-end of 16.5-knots. In electric mode she can sip 88 liters per hour. It is unclear what Geco's figures will be with this different engine plan. Geco will have the touch-and-go helipad on the bow but will more-than-likely see more use as open deck space for lounging furniture.
