  1. Boston Boatworks 52 Offshore Express Cruiser
News from Boston Boatworks located in Charlestown, MA is that they have teamed up with the famed Winch Studio who are collaborating on their 52 Offshore Express Cruiser (BB52). This is also in collaboration with Zurn Yacht Design. It's a 17.3-meter design which really translates to 57-feet and the model aims to tie the gap between production and semi-custom work. Many of the finishes to be found onboard were designed by Winch Design. Although in this case, the design is still very much along the lines of what Boston Boatworks has been producing over the years.
  2. The interior will be comfortable even underway at 40-knots or at anchor in beautiful New England areas. Speaking of New England, the interior evokes this (Nantucket) vibe as well with the whites and nautical blues represented in the throws and cushion piping. Wooden trim-work on the interior is present but not overdone. The interiors are light-filled as well thanks to large side and front windows in the cabin above as well as the skylight.
  3. Scott Smith, Boston Boatworks CEO and founder said: "The BB52 embodies our 27 years of experience building the best high-performing offshore yachts, with some of the world’s most knowledgeable and avid boaters. This is the boat we’ve always wanted to build, for the dedicated express cruiser owner-operator that we know best." The interior functions as a salon as well as a dining space. Below deck there is room for a two-cabin layout to sleep four guests comfortably. "We are excited to work together with the team at Boston Boatworks and Zurn Yacht Design on our very first American offshore cruiser. As a brand that is all about lifestyle, we are delighted to be involved in a project that resonates with us and our clients. In every design we create, we strive to create a comfortable home on the water. A client should step on board and feel the harmony between interior and exterior, experiencing a high level of comfort and build quality. The BB52 achieves all that—and more." stated Jim Dixon, Managing Partner & Creative Director, Winch Design.
