  1. CdM 42-meter "Crowbridge" Takes To The Water
The launch of the 42-meter "Crowbridge" served as the highlight of the current uncertain times for builder Cantiere delle Marche. The yacht bears the work of Tommaso Spadolini as well as the Naval Architecture of Hydro Tec. A formidable steel hull was utilized in the build as the platform for this fully-custom luxury explorer yacht. The brief was simple, create a "strong, comfortable, reliable vessel featuring technical characteristics similar to that of a merchant ship".
  2. Four decks are available to the owner and guests above the waterline. The owner is not new to yachting and also have experience in ownership. In fact their most recent yacht was a planing vessel. Interesting they are now moving to a full-displacement hull with Crowbridge. As you would expect with a explorer type of vessel, she was built to take on the weather as well as endure long distances. A pair of CAT C32 Acerts (1,300 HP each) are onboard to power Crowbridge to a reasonable 14-knots. Her range extends to above 3,500 nautical miles at continuous 10-knot speeds with 60,000 LT of fuel at her disposal. It is a proper ship with all the luxury amenities an owner could want for this type of platform. They are definitely not short on exterior deck space and on the highest deck, there is provision for a jacuzzi. The upper aft deck will be home to the main tender as suggested by the deck crane installed in that position.
  3. At 378 GT there is an abundance of internal volume. There are actually seven cabins onboard for guests and owner to utilize. In total, fourteen can be slept in the guest accommodation. Seven crew members are on hand to run the affairs of this yacht and take care of guests onboard. This vessel should be delivered to her owners soon. Her launch was delayed by a few weeks as a result of Covid-19.
