  1. Under 30-meter Debuts At 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival
It is that time of the year when the Cannes Yachting Festival will be held. Next month the 49th show will be held from September 8th to the 13th. This year there are many debuts as usual and while some of them are above the 30-meter mark, many of them are also below the 30-meter threshold. This is an important size bracket for many customers as rules and regulations can change for vessels above 30-meters vs those at the 24-meter mark.
  2. The first vessel is the Sunseeker Manhattan 94. This vessel came to light this month and will be making is debut next month. The 28.6-meter flybridge class vessel can carry up to 10 guests in five cabins and up to 4 crew when needed. The master suite is by itself on the forward main deck and is full beam while the other four guest cabins are on the lower deck. Design Unlimited is responsible for the interiors on this vessel. Dual MTU marine diesels each with 1,600 horse power can push this yacht to a top speed of 26-knots. Given this model is closer to performance character the range is 1,255 nautical miles at 10-knots.
  3. The second vessel making its debut is another member of the X-Class from Princess Yachts. This new yacht is the Princess X90 which is a 27.1-meter vessel that plugs the void between the X95 and X80 models in the series. It offers the perfect opportunity to those who want to step-up or slightly step-down in size. Onboard, the X90 it appears the yacht will be taking up to 8 guests in 4 cabins under normal circumstances however, the yacht can host 10 guests overnight when the 5th cabin is added by the client. In terms of performance, the X90 has a top speed of 27-knots using a pair of MAN V12 engines.
  4. Stepping down slightly is a 25.6-meter model from Azimut called the Seadeck 9 and is a member of the relatively new Seadeck series from the yard. Interiors are by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez with an exterior by Alberto Mancini it presents a look that is different from most of the competition. Volvo Penta hybrid propulsion is onboard and the vessel has the capability to operate overnight for up to 8 hours with 60kWh battery-powered Hotel Mode for silent sleeping hours. It has the fold-down side terraces at the stern that became popular as established by Benetti's Oasis Deck configuration. Top speed is near 30-knots as well so the Seadeck 9 can make coastal runs in quick time.
  5. The last vessel that is making a debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival that YF is looking at is the Pershing GTX90. This one can take 8 overnighting guests in in 4 cabin layout. Pershings have always been about performance and therefore high-speeds is central to their ethos. On this model twin MAN V12X (2,200 horse power each) engines will push this vessel up to 35-knots. The engines are connected to Castoldi waterjets.
