  1. Cannes Debut For Brand New 35-meter "BEE"
With the main Summer shows for this year quickly approaching, here is one of the yachts expected to make its debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival September 9-14th. The 35-meter "BEE" yacht is more-or-less completed now and marks ART Shipyard's foray into the very competitive sub 40-meter explorer category. The yacht will be available for viewing in Porto Canto during the show.
  2. The yacht appears to be available for sale €15.25 million but will be delivered to the original owner after the show if no show sale is realized. The yacht has been built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure to a design by Hydro Tec. At 35-meters, BEE keeps her internal volume below the 300 GT threshold. Given she has the explorer name, her displacement hull form and efficient engines help take her to distances of 4,000 nautical miles at 10-knots.
  3. According to the designer Sergio Cutolo of Hydro Tec, "the 7.7-meter beam provides additional fuel capacity without significant efficiency loss, allowing owners to take advantage of regional fuel price variations." The naval architecture prioritizes seakeeping and fuel economy, with computational fluid dynamics used to optimize the hull form.
  4. On the interior you will find spaces finished to a design by Michele Dragoni. Simple white walls, near floor-to-ceiling windows and doors serve to make the spaces in the main saloon and dining areas bright and airy, while there are pops of colour from the art installations. Not many personal touches on the interior and that maybe due to the fact she is open to buyers and available for immediate delivery!
