Concept designs are still being concocted and penned by designers around the world. Some are envisioned just to create interest and challenge conventional thinking while others are concepts that are designed thoroughly enough that they can leave paper and be built into reality. Rome-based Lazzarini Design has released their latest design which is for a 24-meter vessel called the 'Embryon' concept.

Besides her sleek lines and modern appearance with a glazing of classical facets, the Lazzarini-penned design shows off a few elements that are intriguing to witness. The vessel is proposed to be made from carbon fiber with a large portion of it being 'transparent'. This section is where the master suite will be located, a full-beam abode of a 24-meter yacht. This vessel is billed to have four cabins to sleep up to eight (8) guests.

The master cabin is of particular note utilizing an 'embryonic' structure to encapsulate the room. With photochromatic properties this glazing will perhaps be able to transform from transparent to opaque for privacy. When transparent the views this installation permits will be second-to-none in its class. The room itself is spacious fitted with a large center-line bed.

The main deck is open and has an express cruiser allure about it. Sunbeds reside on the aft-most part of the deck overlooking the stern while built-ins are symmetrically placed and oriented just behind the helm area. The entrance to the lower deck is beside the helm station. Power is envisioned to be diesel and hydrogen with two MAN V12 2000 horse power engines and an electric engine over 1,000 horse power. An all-electric setup is also proposed. 65-knots is the target top speed with this craft. Since it is a concept, they are also looking into solar generation as seen with the proposal below.
