I've been waiting for info to arrive from Lurssen on this project. When it does, I'll post it under this thread. "Marlin" is a 220' Espen Oino & Frank Zuretti design that will launch in 2006. It's currently under construction at the Rendsburg yard.

Here are some preliminary brochure shots...

    Cool!

I love those subtle changes from the forward facing panels to the side panels. As you may have read from me before, i love the slight subtle curves, they make all the difference, and here they are nigh on perfect :)

Talking of sublte, the lining across the roof of the interior sketch first came about at the start of th 20 century by an icon of mine... one Frank Lloyd Wright.

He designed rooms with large open spaces using coving on the ceiling as a perceptual separation between parts of the room. Geninus; and its good to see how much it is still used these days. Take a look around different buildings you go into, you'll be surprised how much it has been used, and how many different forms these 'perceptual walls' take.

"Apoise" is currently undergoing significant refit at the moment for those who do not know. When she relaunches she will have some noticable modifications to her exterior, namely an extended swim platform and a glassed-in gym area on the sun deck under the mast.

Well, she is out from refit now, the former "Apoise" also flashes a new name. "Titania" graces her oval name plates now.

Mhm I think the big sat dome does not help to give her a smooth design..

Titania was clearly on seatrials since she is 4m longer and is now back at Lürssen Rendsburg.

Interesting to read that she will be lengthened further. She is currently about 70.8-meters and is expected to be just over 72-meters long with a bow figurine??? Interesting...not sure how that is going to look. I mean "Phoenix2" has it but hers blends in well.

I honestly don't even like Phoenix2's bow figurine. I think it looks tacky on a yacht like this.
