  1. Feadship launches 62-meter superyacht "Sea Owl"

This past Friday Dutch yard Feadship launched their latest superyacht, hull #807 with the name "Sea Owl". If that name rings a bell for you, it is because the owner's precious yacht had the same name as well, only smaller (43-meters) and built by Burger Boat in the U.S. The new Sea Owlfeatures a similar green on white paint scheme and bears design by Andrew Winch.

The London-based Andrew Winch Designs were also responsible for the yacht's interior design. ‘Sea Owl’s magical interior is a treasure trove of beautiful detailing surprises that are sure to entertain all generations,’ says Andrew Winch. ‘A wealth of toys and games provide fun distractions for the younger guests whilst adults will appreciate the tailored general arrangement and extraordinarily detailed selection of hand carved pieces, sculptures, petrified wood items and marbles. Sea Owl has been a fantastically creative project to work on and one of which our studio is immensely proud.’

She has Naval Architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects. Sea Owl is powered by a pair of 2,038 HP MTU 16V 4000 M53R diesel engines, has an overall beam of 12.20-meters and a draft of 3.70-meters. On the inside there is a six-cabin layout where the owner has their stateroom and two kids cabins for four children. Additionally, there are three guest stateroom which can sleep six guests. Expect Sea Owl to be completed for use in the Summer.
