New hull paint on my 53

    Just got my 53 back after a hull paint and rail removal. She sure turned out pretty.

    Wow, that does look great. Nice pictures, should be in an advert. for the paint AND the boat !

    I have had 3 different Posts but have had this one ( the 53 ) for 2 years. Had the paint and rail removal work done in Hampstead NC as I keep it at Wrightsville Beach NC.

    looking good, love the paint job. They have a new viking 72 down here in Trinidad with that colour

    Its Alexseal Dolphine Blue Metallic.

    Alexseal Metallic System base coat clear coat is an excellent product for a full LP product and is "putting the hurt" on Awl Grip these days. Much better formulation and ease of application, stunning DOI.

    Looks great, I have a 2005 53, prior owner painted fighting lady yellow with alexseal, not my first color choice, but if I do it again will most likely do a gray or blue.
