New Design: MondoMarine 64M

Mondomarine 64-meter​

MondoMarine has introduced a new vessel, a 64-meter long Studio Vafiadis design that features 5 decks. She can be delivered as early as 2011.

The design has been envisioned to be spacious and features a 12-meter overall beam! The length to beam ratio on this particular design is excellent and will undoubtedly create a comfortable atmosphere onboard. The 64m will be constructed from steel and light alloy. The hull will be steel and the superstructure of light alloy to allow for great weight transference, seakeeping abilities and structural integrity. The Naval Architecture of the design has been done my MondoMarine and SYDAC while the exterior and interior styling, Studio Vafiadis.

The engine type are yet to be decided but indications are that they will either be 2 X CAT or 2 X MTU with 1,500 KW each. Regardless the manufacturer, the speed is expected to be in the region of 16 knots with a cruising at 14 knots. At an economical 12 knots, a range of 4,500 NM can be expected.

The interior accommodation has been set and will involve owner, guest and crew. 1 X double Owners Suite, 7 X double guest cabins, 1 X double Captain cabin and 8 X double crew cabins are expected.
