Erdevicki-Nobiskrug 86-meter superyacht design​

Canadian designer Ivan Erdevicki and Nobiskrug are to show off a new concept that will be officially unveiled at upcoming Monaco Yacht Show (MYS). The new design is a 86-meter superyacht with many special features, one of them surrounds the idea of Adamantine glass within the structure. The windows around the yacht are angled glass together in such a way that it is diamond-like.

The 283-foot superyacht spreads over five decks and overall looking strong, bold and masculine while still being refined. 'The diamond shaped windows is my idea, which I observed many years ago from the deck of a boat during one sunrise departure from a port,’ says Erdevicki, ‘looking at the buildings on a shoreline, windows reflecting and sparkling in early sunrise. I wanted to incorporate the idea into a yacht design and here, many years later, was an opportunity to do so.’

Ivan Erdevicki is the designer, Nobiskrug comes in as the possible yard to build this superyacht if a client is found. Nobiskrug appear pretty keen on building this vessel. It is different yet a form that everyone knows and can identify with. Nobiskrug would build this superyacht at their Rendsberg facility providing they receive the contract. Currently they have an above 100-meter and a 74-meter project in the works there.
