This is the largest vessel for Burger to date. However sometime in October a new Burger of about 154 feet will be emerging and will take the title as the largest. However, the name of this present yacht is Mirgab V and she comes in at 144 feet long. She is due to be on show at the 2006 Monaco yacht show along with many other 2006 deliveries from other companies. She is seemingly owned by a Kuwaiti family and should have all the trappings of an Middle Eastern flair to her (thats only assuming).

Since the old thread doesn´t include the yachts name in the title, we can all find it this way instead thanks to your posting...
Or maybe it was a hint to Carl, when he will have more time, to put the yachts name into the other title. But right now he is busy preparing the house for Ernesto, the approching storm...
Yes. Looks like Carl is busy ... not only in preparation of the coming storm (Ernesto) but also to "fortify" his house against burglary.
Here's the most recent press release... *** Burger Delivers Mirgab V Burger Boat Company, Manitowoc, Wisconsin, U.S.A. — Burger is proud to announce the delivery of the 144' (44m) Tri-deck, Mirgab V to her Middle Eastern owners on August 8, 2006. The delivery followed a flawless 2,500 nautical mile voyage from Manitowoc, Wisconsin to Newport, Rhode Island. The vessel is currently on its way to the Mediterranean and with the kind permission from her owners, she will be on display at the 2006 Monaco Yacht Show.
I was in Newport when she arrived and subsequently when she loaded on the Dock Express. She looks like a quality boat, but also like she ran into something head-on at high speed. IMHO the boat needs another 15-20' in order to carry off her high bow lines. All in all impressive though.
