New 2025 Azimut Magellano 60 owner

    Hi all,

    We are experienced boaters having had a 40 foot Silverton, a 50 foot Meridian 441 that we traveled 7,000 miles over 55 weeks to do the Great Loop from Minnesota, and now we just took delivery of a new 2025 Magellano 60 from MarineMax Fort Myers.

    We looked at boats all over the country, short list was Maritimo 50, Swift Trawler 54, Belize Daybridge 54, Princess 55. This one was 3 miles from our winter condo in Fort Myers.

    We live on the boat in the summer in MN, and eventually want to spend a summer on Lake Michigan, then east coast from Maine to Florida. We have six months to "dial it in" while in Fort Myers at the selling dealer, then we travel up the river system to MN in May 2026.

    We wanted the space and sidewalks and fore deck space of a trawler but still a high design yacht feel to the vessel. This boat has it all.

    Runs great at hull speed but can also get up and go, we hit 31 MPH the other day.

    I'm looking for any other new owners of this model so we can support each other as we get to know this newer Magellano model from Azimut.
