Need Captain and Nanny in one person

    I need a captain for a 2 week cruise through the Baltic Sea between Rostock (GER) and Stockholm (SWE) in oktober 2005 for a Drettmann Elegance 74 (New Line). There will be 5 children, 6, 9, 9, 13 and 16 years. The client and his wife will spend only a few days aboard, so what we need is more a nanny :D . Any childloving captains out here?

    Hi Leveller,

    I once sailed these waters on a Swan 72 with five girls in their twenties and that I would love to do again! But kids, sorry. My best advice would be to drive when they sleep and then drop them at every McDonalds along the coast during daytime... :D

    As it would be a transferring trip without passengers normaly my father would do, but he had the same idea in mind as you... but this is not what the client wants.

    I´ll appreciate that! :) If you will have problems in finding this captain/nanny, I might be able to get a charter yacht captain for you since october is pretty off-season here... but probably not without a stewardess... ;)

    Just for piece of mind... taking care of a yacht underway and at the same time feed and overlook the safety of five kids is a little too much I think! :p

    I might be able to help. Just finished 47 days with kids 7 to 15 years old as many as 6 at a time . The minimum was 3 . I have now regained my sanity and wish to loose it again

    One Captain ?!!!!!

    Sounds like you need Two captains. Thats a 24 hour task just keeping up with the kids!!! If you find a first, I may be interested in 2nd with cooking included.
