i have made this model about 1 year ago but i jus never had a digital camera...but since i do now (thanks Carl) i took a pic of it today...hope you all like it
sorry it came out so large but this is the 1st pic i ever took and posted on here so mabe Carl could you downsize it for me?..thanks
So was your big version. Since this is your first digicam I'm guessing you need a little practice. You have to give them a sec to focus, it's not instant. I went through a few virtual rolls of film before I figured out they were a bit slow on that end of things.
Ron, What happened? I tested the Vivitar cameras and they work very, very well. Did you take a hit of the Gunja, mon?
Apparently so then Kevin, i'll try better with other pics because i have a model of the Wallypower 67, a Visby Class Corvette, a Sunseeker 108 and i am working on RM Elegant and i have a custom that was based on oceAnco's Constellation as well.. So if you all would like to see i would take some pics of them and attach over time... Now you have an idea of my 118 even though the quality is terrible
hm..indeed the picture doesn't look nice, but that what i can see from your model is more than nice - seem to be perfect - can you take some more pictures?
Here is another one...but i think i am still having some problems with the quality...This is of my Wallypower 67...
which materials are you using? plastic? wood? metal? maybe you have to go some more feet away from the model *hehehe*
i really am not sure what i am doing so wrong but could Kevin, Carl or AMG edit the the size of these pics.....i know it appears as if i am on something but i'm not...Just not accustomed to using Digitals so please bear with me peoples... This atrocious pic is of the Visby class corvette and the same WallyPower 67.....
Ron, Don't attach any more pics until you get up to speed. I'm going to delete this entire thread and start fresh after we sort out your problems. First, you need to get a handle on *why" the camera is not taking clear pictures. There is an on-screen software menu, as well as a paperback operation manual for this camera. You need to read the manual and adjust the camera settings correctly. Second, the pics this camera takes are too large for our format, so you need to use a photo editing tool to reduce the images to no larger than 640 x 480 pixels.
OK Ron... I just grabbed one of these Vivitar cameras, walked outside and took these pictures. Perfect! Walking back into the house, I noticed the "Macro/Distance" slide switch on the side of the cameras case and realized... you're tyring to take macro-like (close-up) pictures in standard mode! Ron... read your manual! I need to get back to work.
My father has a t-shirt from the old "Home Improvement" TV show: Real Men Don't Need Instructions! LOL No offense Ron, but you might want to check the manual a bit before you snap some more pics.
