Mooring in Honolulu hard to find for live-aboards?

I’ve researched online about finding yearly mooring for a 30” yacht in Honolulu and from what I read online is that it’s hard to find and there are waitlists. I’m assuming that this is just for live-abroads only because the first Marina that I called in Honolulu had availability for me. So I’m assuming it’s just hard to find slips/moorage for live-abroad’s only? Or did I get lucky with my first call to that Marina?
