When I bought the midnight fancy, there was not one rod holder on the entire boat. I thought she looked like a fine sportfish hull and customized accordingly. I added rod holders, and a half tower with outriggers. The rear awning is great for shade but I had it reworked with a hinge in the middle for folding up and reeling in fish. She cruises at a fuel efficient 1.34mpg at 20mph @2000rpm and have had her topped out at 28mph.

Congratulations on the alterations, I particularly like the idea of the black pipe for the top, and awning. I noticed some interior modifications in the other Midnight Lace thread, has the guest head been removed? What is the synthetic teak material in the cockpit? How hot does it get?
In any case, I am pleased to see some investment in these modern classics.

BLACK SWAN, the 52 without flybridge in Camden,ME has a similar modification, although I think I remember they have a desk.
