    Anybody know what brand of wireless remote they use? 3 voicemails with no return from Marquipt. I would like to add one to my TL Classic 1500.

    Davit? How many functions does it have? Wireless remotes from davit or swimplatform manufacturers are expensive. You can probably get a basic remote system for cheap

    a few months ago I installed this cheapie for the nautical structure platform on the 116 I took over. Works great.

    if you only need two functions like cable and rotation that would work too. There maybe others with more function or get a second one for boom up/down and boom in/out if needed

    I know.... $22 sounds like a joke. It works.

    A few years ago I was afraid of buying a cheap remote for windlasses so I got a $200 wireless remote from one of the windlass manufacturer. It worked but it was no Better quality than the cheap ones. This can also be used for windlasses or thrusters

    Thanks Pascal! Sorry I didn’t provide more info. I have luffing and lifting. I purchased a quick lift wireless remote. The problem is I need a ground wire and the low-voltage (12v) controller or LVC that operates the Marquipt does not have a ground wire. That’s why I was interested in what type of wireless remote Marquipt uses. I’m going to assume that there is a grounding wire on my standpipe. The problem is the standpipe goes through the fantail sole and is secured to the sole of the aft deck. Under the aft deck is the master state room and of course there’s a headliner (in great shape) which prevents me from seeing the grounding wire. The standpipe is a 4 inch OD and sleeved on the inside to create an almost solid pipe. Trying to run a wire down the stand pipe is impossible. My davit is a 110 plug in type. Thoughts?

    Years ago i ran a 70 footer with a quick lift, initially with wired remote then upgraded to wireless. The davit was 120v but the controls were powered by a small 12v charger/converter.

    The mini contacts in the DCv wireless control box is not heavy enough to handle the ACv of the davit or lift directly. They drive the larger high current relays or switches.

    There is a low voltage controller on this Marquipt that converts 110-12vdc. The wired or wireless remotes operate on 12vdc
