    The kickout in the upper part of the hull around the midships area is very reminiscent of Flying Fox. There are details on this that takes pieces from a few of the M oran projects underway at present. The midships area of the superstructure has this 'V' design which looks similar to what we see on the design for Project JAG. yet nothing else resembles that Project. The bow section area is similar looking to the design proposed for the Kali project but nothing else resembles that esp* the size 140 plus vs 110 of Kali. So I would have to agree this is a total new design .

    Am I wrong or the bulbous bow is quite peculiar, unusual?
    In some photos, it looks similar to the one fo REV Ocean..

    As far as I can see the bulb is symmetric in all its axes and of ogival shape;
    REV's one is vertically tapered (more narrow than high)

    Maybe you're right, but...I was wondering...where are located the tenders?
    Aft there is the beach club, on the deck under the helipad, I think there are the lifeboats..I can't see anything else o_O

    There is a forward tender garage behind the foredeck mooring area. You have to look carefully but the shelldoors are there. The SOLAS tenders/craft are midships upper deck behind the aluminium doors.

    Clearly you will see four large satcom balls installed around the mast and as you would expect the exhaust pipes on either side of the mast.

    So...I guess we can assume that it's another Espen Oeino's yacht and that it's the sister of Flying Fox, Crescent, Scheherazade and Nord.
    Of course, the design is different, bat the platform (the hull and its layout) is the same as Peter Lurssen recently said in an interview.
    It's clever because if you want a yacht within the range of 136 - 145 metres you can have it in less time because you don't have to engineer all the technical spaces.
    It's like in the automotive, where you can build multiple models on the same chassis thanks to the modular platforms. ;)

    I'm seeing the project is being called "Luminance" now so I've updated the thread title.

    It seems to me the Luminance is sister to unlucky Sassi, and very probably is her replacement. The same dimentions, architecture and mode of attaching the bow section. Moreover the period of 2,5 years that passed from the Sassi fire very suits for the building another one under different nickname.

    Interesting. Would be cool if it is true. IMO she looks nothing like Sassi. It's ashame what happened. We shall see if it is true that see is the Sassi replacement.
