    I'm looking for a new challenge in the new year as Chief Mate or Second Mate on a motor yacht.
    I have Master Mariner Unlimited COC, all STCW, ENG1 & SSO.
    I have 12yrs commercial passenger & cargo ship experience and looking to move onto yachts.
    I've owned several small boats and great tender driving skills.

    I would second the above post.

    There are a few of us ex commercial engineers but not any guys in your position as far as I know.

    Nail the agencies, you might have to take a small boat or start trying for relief work and deliveries as you get to know the business and see if it suits you.

    I know an ex cruise ship master who had good yacht experience who was on a boat that sold and he was not required he ended up going back commercial as Ch Off on a container ship for a few trips till he found another opening.
