She was at Lürssen only for a few days and then went to Loyd Werft in Bremerhaven where she is still getting a refit. Based on a photo I have seen I would say her hull got faired and repainted during the last 10 months. Reducing her explorer character a little bit.
BTW the Loyd Werft also started the construction of a 140m project!

I wonder when she will be done with this refit......Does anybody know if she will have a new hull color and a new name?

I think the glossy blue looks pretty sharp. That being said, I feel like leaving it unfaired (I hope that's the correct term?) gave it more of an expedition/explorer look.

I wonder what has been done.... This seems to have been a very long refit. The new owner must have not liked Mr.A's tastes too much.

I would assume that A lot was done to her interior...... Because her exterior looks almost unchanged.

Luna's hull has always been a matt finish Flag Blue up till now. She wasn't faired well either so that beautiful smooth gloss took a few thousand man hours and mega $$$ to produce. One of my favorite designs by far.

One of the contributors to YF is the guy behind the company that did the filling, fairing and painting.

The end result I am told by someone who is looking to use that company on a different project is outstanding

Thraki Yacht Painting . ICOMIA applicator 2015, several 100 meter projects since 2004. Very difficult job to say the least.

I can't say I'm extremely surprised at the cost... Considering she was out of commission for over a year.

If the result is good, and there are kudos to be handed out, I say to speak up and share.
