Here is a link to rescue operations. It might be quiet at night but right now, I'm listening to several chopper rescues by the military and USCG. Sometimes morbid reports but sometimes you will hear a great rescue. http://aurora.foghaven.net:8000/LSP.m3u if you don't get the link, it is too buisy. If so, try http://www.radioreference.com/wiki/index.php/Hurricane_Katrina Scroll down to "Dave Hitchners feeds" & try a few of them. They are all the same but sometimes you can't connect for some reason
The first link is working again!!! I was just listening to "Omaha two seven zero" in desperate need of fuel. "Raptor one one" is in the middle of a rescue, "Cactus 7404" and "Hammer" are going after possible "live" targets & getting directions (land marks) from the command center
Listening to that on this side of the pond makes the world feel a whole lot smaller i tell you! Thanks for the links Dave
Marine Radio This thread is very interesting and I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to listen to marine band radio the same way. Is there a site which would provide this service or information. Allan
