We had the KVH TracVision M1 sattelitte receiver installed last week and are very pleased with the result. Clear picture, even at 30 knots. We have Directv at the house so it would about $5 more a month to add that reveiver. All in all a pretty cool addition.
Gulfcoasters, I'm looking at getting that same antenna installed on a boat I'm in the process of buying. I'm vascillating between that same antenna and one by Intellian. Do you mind if I ask some questions about your choice? ~Why did you pick that brand and that antenna? ~would you mind sharing the cost figures with me, by PM if you don't want to post them publicly?
