I have heard a few folks stating that the Kent Narrows is once again filling in at the Northern end which is entered through the Chester River. There are conflicting views on which side of the channel is deeper. More interesting is the fact that the channel is shoaling between the two bridges in the Narrows. I am told the shoaling is on the Eastern side of the Narrows. It seems the main channel, through the draw bridge is OK but if you usually don't use the draw bridge and simply favor the North bound, Eastern channel under the bridge, you may have a problem. There is a temporary "Danger" bouy there now. Some folks use the South bound side to go North, I am told. Just a " Heads up"
