Raffles 88-meter superyacht 'Illusion' in build​

A massive 88-meter straight-bow superyacht is currently under construction at the Raffles yard in China. RSD (Rainsford Sauders Design) has done the external design while Naval Architecture has been handled by Azure Naval Architects. The interior which appears to be of Asian influence, is by Sander Sinot of Sinot Yacht Designs. The 88-meter superyacht dubbed 'Illusion' spreads over five decks with steel hull and aluminum superstructure.

The new superyacht is very well advanced in her construction process and is basically complete (shell wise). She is expected to be powered by Rolls Royce diesel electric engines. Illusion will have an impressive top speed of 17-knots and a cruising speed in the region of 14-knots. If you are attending the Hainan Rendezvous a model of Illusion is expected to be on display at the Fraser Yachts stand (E17). The show will run from March 30th to April 2nd in Sanya. Project Illusion is on her way for delivery in second quarter 2015.
