In Build; Perini Navi 38-meter sister sloop of "P2" A new 38-meter sloop is currently under construction by Italian brand and company Perini Navi. She is a sloop built off the successes experienced from the build and performances of the 38-meter luxury racing sloop, "P2", completed in 2008. The new boat is pretty much completed structurally and like P2 is designed by Philippe Briand. The new 38-meter sloop is voluminous because of her layout despite having a relatively 'small' footprint. The new vessel can be expected to finish in fourteen months which corresponds to Perini Navi's 2012 completion. Quick specifications include a beam of 8.38-meters, waterline length of approximately 34.66-meters, 141-tonne displacement and because she has a lifting keel, a maximum draft of 5.5-meters.
