  1. FC100 sailing yacht under construction at Maxi Dolphin

There's a 100-foot racing sailing yacht currently under construction at the Maxi Dolphin facility in Italy. Everything about this boat shouts modernity, from the minimalist interior to the smooth hydrodynamically efficient hull lines. Actually the reason why she is called the FC100 is because her design is by French Naval Architects, Finot-Conq. The minimalist interior is designed by Pierre Frutschi.
  2. Her LOA is 30.48-meters with a BOA of 8.30-meters and the draft is variable by means of a lifting keel. With the keel extended the draft is as much as 5.40-meters but have it retracted, the draft reduces to 3.00-meters. Construction of this maxi yacht is in Prepreg Carbon/Nomex and although she is a racing yacht, the French owner wants her to be as comfortable as possible without compromising her potential racing performance.

The owner made orders to furnish the yacht's five cabins with an ultra-thin carpeting. The interior uses whites and blacks with splashes of colour from accent pieces. A light and airy feeling is created from windows on the sides of the hull and from the top of the deck. The FC100 in build at Maxi Dolphin is expected to be launched in May 2013.
