on our 85 425 Catalina, I can’t find the vent for the holding tank. The tank is located under the galley floor, but can’t find a vent exit outside the boat. Would like to change the filter and clear any clogging.

    Thanks!

If there is a filter, it should be easy to follow the vent hose to it.

Unlikely to be a filter, but vent is never very far from the tank. Just look on the side of the Hull just below the rub rail to the right or left of the tank location.

I remember on an old Cat 30 Snail Bote, The tank vent was clogged from over filling.
The vent was built into a life line stanchion. Took a few hours to find it.
Once found, I deemed it very clever. There were no other vents on the hull either.
