Hey all, since the new "Elandess" by Abeking & Rasmussen has been launched, the 2008 "Elandess" built by Heesen has been renamed "Elandess II"
The illfated Heesen "Seascape" seems to have been renamed the "Hayken" following the then owner's demise?
Another Heesen yacht is in the news as to the demise of its owner following illigitimate practices. This time it is the 131-foot long "Brazil" ex-"Simone". She is now up for sale as the owners life apparently is up for sale as well with a hefty sentence.
Heesen will launch yet another 3700. This will happen around May 2010 and her name is to be "Will Power II".
The 131-foot Heesen "Brazil" (ex."Simone") has been brought back to the central agents, ***** for the upcoming charter winter season in the Caribbean.
The 2006 built Heesen 155-foot "Let It Be" has joined the open sales market. This is the successor to the 3700 "Let It Be". She is now on the market for 24.75 Million Euros.
"Sedation" is up for sale through joint agencies of Merle Wood and Associates and Camper Nicholson. There is also a lovely short video of the Sedation on the CNI site.
"Ilona", a 2007 built Heesen 3700, has been on charter since delivery. Wonderful pics of her are available on the Burgess site.
Heesen's "At Last" has been trying to be sold in the recent past. Last month her asking price was slashed by a significant 2-million. Now again we hear of another significant reduction in her asking price. This time it is a 3-million dollar reduction from 17.9-million to 14.9-million!
The "Elandess II" (ex. Elandess) is now in Monaco for viewing. She will be there in this capacity until the 24th of November. Bear in mind that this award-winning motor yacht is up for sale and is asking 29-Million Euros.
"Red Sapphire" The 1999-built Heesen "Red Sapphire" is up for sale. She is currently asking 12-Million USD.
Kardin "Kardin" is a 46.7-meter motor yacht in-build at Heesen for 2010. She is of steel and aluminum construction with a service speed of 15.5 knots. She is hull ID 15147.
Of course she (the Heesen) is up for sale as the recent launching of the Trinity-built "Red Sapphire" has taken place.

There is a Heesen called "4 You". Is this new delivery or a name change? Looks new to me though. http://media.shipspotting.com/uploads/photos/rw/1035205/Ship+Photo+4+YOU.JPG
I can confirm that the Heesen "4 You" is brand new, she was recently delivered. She is hull ID 14647 on the Heesen website build in all aluminum.
Additionally, there are a number of other builds going on at Heesen, including their largest yacht to date, an all aluminum 55-meter with hull ID 14955 for launching in 2011. There is also another 55-meter in steel and aluminum with hull ID 15555 for 2012. Interestingly Hull ID 14955 is having a wet dock at her stern.
Heesen opens new office in Viareggio Heesen Yachts is proud to announce the opening of a Mediterranean office, strategically located in the port of Viareggio on the coast of Tuscany, some 20 kilometres from Pisa Airport. This office, which is managed by Heesen Yacht’s Sales and Marketing Director Fabio Ermetto, is dedicated to Public Relations and Media activities. Fabio Ermetto comments: “The opening of the Italian office is the first step in our development plan. In the near future we plan to open further Public Relations offices in strategic locations”. "The Mediterranean Sea is a favourite destination for the majority of our yachts and Viareggio is at the very heart of our business. A location in Via Coppino, the so-called ‘5th Avenue of the yachting industry’, is the right place to meet press, designers and brokers.” For more information: Heesen Yachts, Rijnstraat 2, 5347 KL Oss, The Netherlands.
