I came across these pictures of a Hatteras Yachtfish Skylounge while going through some images of my Pac-NW trip in June of 2009. I took these pictures in Roche Harbor, San Juan Islands. It's the first time I've ever seen a Yachtfish converted to a skylounge! Thought some of our Hatteras guys might appreciate seeing the same. This yacht was exceptionally well cared for. Kudos to the owner...
it's very hard to come up with a good looking enclosed flybridge design on boats that where not meant to have one... cant' say this one is easy on the eyes!
Me neither. Also adding all of that weight to a boat that is top heavy to begin with would not be fun either. I ran a 58' Yachtfish for years and have a lot of great memories of the boat, beam seas were NOT one of them.
