Anyone know what the item and its two white wires are ?? Indicator LED for the tank remains lit despite tank pump working fine on auto & manual. Unscrewed & removed white cap and found an Ultra Switch under it and the switch works fine.

The sensor in the photo is the device that signals the pump to turn on and then turn off. It's sold by Dometic and coordinates with an auto-on and off switch with a manual override.

That switch with the two white wires will need to be periodically but routinely serviced, cleaned. It can stick and fail to turn on or off.

The one that went bad became N/C regardless of the float position. Replacement expected today.
