Nope. I have however, more than once, seen them get out of hand in a hurry.... I watched three little ones join forces, become a BIG mofo, and spawn numerous tornadoes in Mississippi in less than 15 minutes. But you're right, they were there to begin with and I was watching them. Moral of the story is.... take them serious. All of them all of the time. There are no benign ones.
That is true, although technically this was not a thunderstorm. But it is a weather event, that happens suddenly in certain conditions, and you need to have some experience/knowledge to recognize it. With the increase of "captains" and charterers, this becomes a noticeable problem.
