    Does anyone have any information on either of these yacht designs? Any thoughts on compairing the two designs? Any better modern designs?

    Hello There,

    The designs of these 2 are completely different. Esence is for instance about 20 ft. larger than Ghost. They both however share the same rigging type.
    They are also both performance cruisers offering increased speed and handling compared to other sailing yachts.

    Ghost was build at Vitters and designed by Luca Brenta who used to draw boats for Wally. Esence was build by wally and designed by Bill Tripp who also designed Mystere which was build by Vitters. Still with me?

    A nice new modern build is the Briand 125 which is currently under construction at Perini Navi.

    Are you looking for some specific info on both?

    What kind of information are you looking for, exactly?

    The Wally site has a spec sheet for Esense HERE, as well as some pictures & layouts.

    Vitters has some information on Ghost at their site HERE along with a Gallery as well.
