My prior boat of 18 years had fiberglass decks which were very easy to maintain. We recently upgraded to a larger boat with Teak decking. Clearly requiring a bit more attention. On a charter on a feadship in Europe a few years ago I recall the deck crew using an aerosol spray can of some sort to spot clean the teak, taking care of grease spots from bacon, or red wine spots. This last 4th of July, after a party aboard, I saw another captain doing the same thing, spot cleaning with some aerosol product. Both times the teak was natural silver, no odd coatings or oils on deck. As I recall the product had a very simple name, perhaps two letters. I can not find out what this stuff is no matter how I search online. Does anyone have an idea who makes this aerosol product?
Yes, it's K2R dry cleaning stuff. Shake the can, spray it on the deck and let it dry 15 minutes, brush it off...…. https://www.amazon.com/American-Hom...hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4584276296743473&psc=1
