First Edition - Chapmans Piloting

    I'm looking for a First Edition of Chapmans, I have looked around the internet without much luck. The closest I have found is one from the 1940's. The version I have from the seventies says that the first edition was published in 1922.

    Any ideas?

    There's some serious legwork here, but you could try contacting "historians" at various yacht clubs. They tend to accumulate or know the where abouts of personal artifacts of past members. There's a good chance... if there's an issue of Chapman's dating back to the 20's & 30's, these guys may have duplicates they are willing to part with.
