Feadship launched a new yacht. The name, font of the name and the styling of the yacht all point to who perhaps owns this vessel. Let's just say it looks like a 77-meter Westport built by Feadship! "Boardwalk" is the name of this new vessel built as Project 707. De Voogt is the pen behind the lines of this new yacht.

Another look at the 77-meter "Boardwalk" just after launch.

It is pretty amazing they manage to make it look like a larger version of his old yacht.

Zero creativity and originality, not Feadship's fault we know how capable they are, imagine going to the yard that built Madame Gu, Savannah and so many other amazing yachts and asking for this:)

Perhaps I am old fashioned, but I think she is one of the best looking yachts from Feadship since Mylin IV in 1992...

I like it too, the owners simply wanted a larger version of their Westport. That's is all there is to it. The debate of why a yard with the 'pedigree' of Feadship would build something like this is unfounded. It's what the owner commissioned them to build. Wait until it is completed, it will be fabulous.

A video of "Boardwalk" during her transit to Rotterdam where she will eventually be readied for her North Sea sea trials.

I think Feadship will build what the client wants based on the brief the owner give the builder, designer and Naval Architect. But I see where you are going with this. Lots of previous Feadships from the past were built without them.

I believe you will see them more often on De Vries builds than Van Lent.

Based on the articles out there, seems like the owner is already thinking about the next build. Curious if we will see a 90m on order here.

Don’t think there is going to be a new build just yet.

Depending on how the Rockets Basketball team does will be my guess.
