    Can somebody please advise me on the technical implications/complications of importing a yacht from America to Thailand. :confused:

    How big of a boat, what kind of AC power systems does it have? US power is 60hz, and I believe Thailand is 50hz which has implications on motor speeds. 240v-120v is a simple transformer conversion. On larger boats we have Atlas inverters which basically can take in any power/cycles and deliver any power/cycles by going through DC, they ain't cheap though, nor light.
