I'm a first time buyer trying to buy a yacht in the DR. I'm having trouble finding a reputable buyers broker in the DR. (specifically around Luperon but not picky) Does anyone have any experience/recommendations?

I did two transactions with a Miami broker who is from the DR and shipped both of my listings to the DR. I can search for his name if you like.

Well that was a great idea but his name is no longer on the company's site. Yachtingexperts dot com Miami
Talk to Frank De Varona there and see if he fits.

I don't think there is any broker IN the D.R. I would trust. I have picked up a few yachts that were bought by a yacht company here in Florida that were in the D.R., they sent someone to babysit the boat and stay on the boat the day it closed, until the Capt and crew could take the boat out of the D.R.
