  1. The Doggersbank 84' Trawler "Beothuk"

The Doggersbank Offshore 84 foot "Beothuk" is a twin screw motoryacht. She commands attention with her steel hull and flared bow design that help accentuate the beauty of this aluminum and steel creation.

Beothuk weighs in at 120 tonnes aiding her engines to produce customary efficient cruising performances every time. She carries 2 X CAT 3406C DI-TA engines that provide her with a maximum speed of 12 knots. However, at 10 knots she can travel great distances, crossing oceans with ease.

Provisions were made for her cruising efficiency but on the interior, she received a custom treatment. The owner selected a contemporary interior with an elegant atmosphere, custom built in blond teak and combined with high quality fabrics.

The Lower Deck did not escape the custom touches as the owner created an individualistic flair for the Master. "...a full beam owners' state room, including a walk- in wardrobe and a bathroom with marble floors and floor heating," are present.

Even Beothuk's galley has been given the treatment. The galley on the Main Deck level is fully equipped with professional household appliances. Its counter top is made of granite and provided with back splashes and a handrail. Mid-toned woods were used for the cabinetry and stone for the floor. Matching upholstered ceiling with task-lighting completes the look.

In the salon on the Main Deck, mid-tone browns and creams dominate. This palette is complimented by leathers and plush flooring carpets. The wheelhouse, generous in size for the type of yacht, has been given the treatment as well. "Beothuk's wheelhouse is equipped with a customized navigation, alarm and monitoring system. The layout includes a professional chart table and a large day head. An electrically operated helmsman's chair and settee with leather cushions ensure premium comfort during long cruises."

In all, the Beothuk is small but big in purpose. Well built with steel and aluminum construction that combines form and function. Gently flared bow and contemporary touches create a tight design package. On the interior, a custom affair was created. Practical as well as aesthetically pleasing to the eye, she taunts the emotions of those who see her. She can cruise for long periods of time making her the ideal platform for adventure and explore-type cruising.
