DML Lays Keel For 96m Billionaires Yacht

On 11th October 2007 a keel laying ceremony took place at DML's Appledore shipyard (North Devon UK), with the main design & build taking place there, this will be there biggest superyacht to date.

This new Superyacht is set to double the shipyards workforce to around 300, which in recent times have seen the workforce slashed.

The new owner of this 96m yacht is Ernesto Bertorelli, Switzerland richest man and the current holder of the Americas Cup & Team Alinghi.

It is estimated the cost of this luxury superyacht will exceed £180 million, but no-one confirms the exact figures.
