My Mercury hypalon air bottom dinghy separated significantly along a seam. Although it’s still under warranty I’m considering an aluminum hull RIB in the 10-11 ft range to replace it. Any experience/recommendations?

    Thanks,
    Steve

I repaired my old inflatable with 5200. It’s still working.

Years ago, we had a 10’ AB with a 9.9 Mercury 2 Stroke. It was light weight, planed with 4 adults (2 women and 2 guys) and did ok in a little chop for what it was. I would definitely consider one again if we were looking in that size range.

I got an 2021 AB VSX 10 with 30 hp Tohatsu this year and we absolutely love it. It’s only 450 lbs and easily goes on our hydraulic lift.
