   I worked aboard The Vergemere for the Phipps family out of Palm beach, Fl. during the late 50's early 60's for Capt. Fingers O'Bannon. Was wondering if she was still in service. Have had no luck finding info.

   Thanks for your note. Believe she was built by Defoe Ship Building. About 110' . Was told she was the sistership to Evinrudes "Chanticleer".
