    Can anyone tell me what the oil capacity is for the above referenced motor its in a 86 Bertram 42 MY. I have completely forgotten.

    Pending remote oil hoses and coolers, start at 26 quarts for the TIB.
    MBevins may be rite on after you top off for the filter, lines and cooler.

    Also, Ensure you use an oil for Detroit 2-strokes.
    API rated at CF-2.
    Delo 100, Shell T1 @ straight 30 or 40W.

    I would guess 24 quarts, or 6 gallons of Earl, for Earl's Bert...:) Do let us know.
