  1. Day 3 Of The 2025 Monaco Yacht Show
New designs for single models and series are still emerging on Day 3 of the 2025 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show. Moonen released details on the Moonen 133 Mallorca. The LIVIA series was unveiled by RMK Marine -which includes the LIVIA 50 and LIVIA 72 -. Silver Arrow, Sleek and Icebreaker are all new models released in a partnership between Tureddi Yachts and 3-Studio. ISA also announced the sale of a new 60 Metri Spectre superyacht. This is actually part of a larger range that will comprise of 50, 68, and 80-meter models. The Super Polaris 70 was announced as a collaboration between T. Mariotti and Cantieri di Pisa. The 70-meter will actually be the first yacht of a future series. GX Superyachts unveiled the GX38 Voyager model. The Swan ALLOY 44 was revealed with renders. 'Project MG', the world's first wind-assisted hybrid-explorer yacht was signed.
  2. Dutch yard Moonen has released details and renderings on their new model called the Moonen 133 Mallorca. The 40-meter yacht has exterior design by Rene van der Velden with an interior by Vripack. The Naval Architecture is the work of Diana Yacht Design. “This model adds to the breadth of our yacht range, designed with a different length and GT to the 110 Mustique and 122 Martinique models,” said Nicky van Zon, Technical Director, Moonen Yachts. The 133 Mallorca design is offering a 5 cabin layout but for up to 12 guests. Two pullman berths account for the additional capacity.
  3. The interior will be worth 430 GT and the guests will enjoy the neutral but light toned internal spaces on offer. We mentioned there will be a 5 cabin layout for the guests for up to 12 however, you will expect a 10 guest capacity on the 133 Mallorca as well. The owner will be able to personalize their suite to some degree. Full-height windows are on offer. The main saloon demonstrates the Vripack theme best with curvy features and light but neutral, sandy/tonal themes and textures.
  4. RMK Marine has also been in the spotlight with the release of a new series called the LIVIA series. This series will comprise of the LIVIA 50 and LIVIA 72 models. The interesting thing about this series is that it did not start as a series. In fact, this was a 68-meter yacht that came to light in 2024. “The 72-meter model provides an extraordinary platform for private or charter use, while the 50-meter brings the same spirit to a more compact size. Together, they reflect our commitment to innovation, craftsmanship, and global appeal", says Cuneyt Okcu, Director, RMK Yachts. The LIVIA 72 will have an estimated internal volume of 1,700 GT with a 12 guest capacity and accommodation in 6 cabins.
  5. The LIVIA 50 is much more compact and keeps the internal volume value to below 500 GT. Red Design is also responsible for the LIVIA 50 design. The construction slots are currently being finalized but once there are buyers onboard the 50-meter with have a 24 month wait time and the 72-meter 36 months respectively. Both new models are to have some of the latest next-generation hybrid propulsion. Additionally, renewable energy integration and energy-efficient systems and facilities are envisioned to help ton the reduction of harmful emissions.
  6. Tureddi Yachts are in the news once again with a collaboration with 3-Studio showcasing a series entitled Silver Arrow, Sleek and Icebreaker. Silver Arrow is a 38-meter hull with a sort-of reverse bow design. Categorized as quick with theming around "velocity and dynamism" the vessel offers living across a three-deck layout. With no traditional sun deck, the designers had to make use of both the fore deck and aft upper decks. The foredeck appears to have a jacuzzi and lounge seating.
  7. Sleek has a further balanced and refined profile in line with traditional contemporary lines following previous examples like the Lurssen "Moon Sand". Four decks are on display for guest use with some of the central features including a plunge pool in the swim platform that leads into a wellness/spa area on the lower aft deck. The forward sun deck has a glassed jacuzzi.
  8. Icebreaker is the largest of the designs with a 60-meter platform and looking the most bold and determined of the three. "This collaboration represents the perfect balance between creativity and technical mastery," said a spokesperson from the 3-Studio. "Together with Tureddi Yachts, we’ve created three distinct interpretations of what modern yachting can be: fast, elegant, or adventurous, yet always bespoke."
  9. There is the announcement of the sale of the 60 Metri Spectre from ISA. The 60 Metri Spectre is just part of a range that will eventually include 50, 68 and 80-meter models. Enrico Gobbi brought to life the initial conception of the 60 Metri Spectre model from Giuseppe Palumbo. Onboard there is accommodation for 12 guests in 6 cabins along with a crew of 13. The vision is to give the owner an entire deck. The internal volume is set at an even 1,000 GT.
  10. The Super Polaris 70 is another model announced at the show and this is a collaborative effort between the T. Mariotti shipyard and Cantieri di Pisa. Interestingly this is being heralded as the rebirth of the Polaris line of Cantieri di Pisa. It will have interiors by Pulina Exclusive Interiors. Going forward, all yachts over 50-meters will be branded Cantieri di Pisa powered by T. Mariotti and built at the Group’s facilities.
  11. GX Superyachts also unveiled the GX38 Voyager as well. It appears that this model will have a reinforced hull to allow for some polar expeditions -which is interesting as these yachts are built in aluminium-. Onboard there are options for 5 or 6 cabin layouts. 16-knots is the carded top speed but in 'hybrid navigation mode' they suggest that the GX38 Voyager will have a theoretical 10,000 nautical mile range at 6-knots.
  12. Nautor Swan has used the Monaco Yacht Show to unveil their new Swan ALLOY 44. It is a new 44-meter that takes design from Malcolm McKeon. The yard suggests that the Swan ALLOY 44 will be launched in 2026 and also the technical details associated with it. There is high levels of customization that the yard is leaving to owners. It is a bold step for Swan entering into the Alloy market. "With the launch of the Swan 128 and the groundbreaking Swan Alloy 44, the brand continues to push the boundaries of innovation while remaining deeply rooted in its heritage", said Massimo Perotti, CEO and Chairman of SanLorenzo.
  13. Bringing up the rear in announcements for today is news of a signing of a 106-meter wind-assisted hybrid-Explorer yacht called 'Project MG'. Xplorer Yachts and Norse Shipyard will be executing the build to a design by VPLP design. This is NOT a sailing vessel but rather assisted by the wind. The predictions include a 30 to 50 percent reduction in fossil fuel burn using the wind. They boldly say that the vessel will be able to cruise at up to 12-knots under wind. Hybrid diesel-electric propulsion gives the power to run the vessel to 15-knots. While 'under sail' the vessel will be able to take advantage of hydro-regeneration as well as make power from onboard photovoltaics. 8,000 nautical miles is the range and targeting late 2027 for delivery.
