  1. Cannes Yachting Festival Day 3
It is day 3 of the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival and with the majority of the unveilings and updates already released, things have started to plateau in that regard. However, we still have a couple news items from the show today. Austin Parker unveiled a new 24-meter flybridge yacht called the ICONICA 80. Benetti unveiled the 40-meter B.Neos. Swan had a few updates for the industry and Numarine announced the 27XP model. CustomLine earlier announced two new models as well.
  2. Austin Parker brought a new design to the Cannes Yachting Festival for 2025. The ICONICA 80 flybridge is the latest design from them coming after the ICONICA Navetta 30. On the inside, there are two decks -the lower deck and the main deck- but on the exterior at the top is the flybridge deck. The interior is open-plan and with a 6-meter beam, it is still a spacious affair. In terms of accommodation, the yacht has been laid out to sleep 8 guests in 3 cabins and that would be an owner's suite, two VIP-grade cabins. However, there is an option for another space to become an additional cabin should an owner prefer that for their purposes.
  3. In the common areas onboard like the main saloon, there is plenty of natural light entering the space thanks to to ample superstructure glazing. For a vessel this size, Austin Parker has devoted alot of space to the flybridge deck. The guest experience will be enhanced on this deck with relaxation zones across the majority of the deck while not interfering with the secondary helm area. In terms of propulsion, the yacht will be carrying a pair of Volvo Penta engines which will run the vessel to a top speed of 24-knots and a cruising speed in the region of 18-knots.
  4. Italian builder Benetti introduced the world to another over their 'B.' models called the B.Neos. You would be accustomed to some of their other B. models like the B.Now, B.Yond, B.Loft etc. and the B.Neos is the latest addition to the family. The forward-thinking B.Neos introduces a new era of next-generation yachting: the evolution beyond traditional motor yachts and the final frontier before sailing.
  5. The B.Neos being presented is 40-meter with an exterior by Malcolm McKeon Design. The interior on this one is by FM Architettura. “B.Neos represents a new approach that looks ahead,” says Giovanna Vitelli, chair of the Azimut|Benetti Group. “We chose a leading designer from the sailing segment to bring the sleek proportions of sailing yachts to a motor yacht, avoiding the pursuit of volume at any cost. From sailing, B.Neos also inherits the pleasure of silence at anchor, made possible by hybrid technology and an essential approach to interiors, distinct from the redundant opulence seen oftentimes in certain yachting segments.”
  6. Swan, known for their sailing yachts is world premiering the Swan 51. The Swan 51 is perhaps on the smallest end of its performance-cruiser offering. The yard also gave the industry a glimpse of the Swan 73. Nautor Swan now that it is under SanLorenzo will also experience approximately €35 million investment regime. This is expected to spawn two new models and a broadened international presence.
  7. Numarine announced a 'new model' in the 27XP. It is not really a new model as it is just a refinement of the 26XP but a touch larger. There are one or two differences in the exterior styling over the 26XP though. Interestingly, there is going to be a main deck VIP cabin which will represent a first for the yard. The first hull is already under construction and will be completed in 2026. Overall, 4 units of the new 27XP have been sold to customers already.
  8. Ferretti Group member Custom Line announced two new models at the show. One in the form of the Custom Line 125 and the other a Navetta 34. The exterior on the 125 model is by SY Design with an interior by ACPV Architects while the exterior of the Navetta 34 is by Filippo Salvetti with interiors by the same ACPV Architects. The Navetta 34 is now expected to replace the Navetta 33 and already has 2 units accounted for.
